Party Time?

I know it isn’t quite time here in the eastern U.S, but I’ve been up since 5:30 a.m. since it was a work day, and I really don’t believe I’m going to make it till midnight before my bed calls me.

The picture, by the way, is a shot of New Year’s celebrations in Scotland.  I want to celebrate at least one New Year there, probably more than one since there are different celebration traditions in other areas of the country.

But I am here, having had a wonderful dinner with my husband and sons, and doing a little post-holiday clean-up so we start the new year fresh tomorrow.  The past year has been an interesting one, and, while I’m a little sad to see it come to an end, I am looking forward to seeing what 2016 has in store.

I want to wish each of you a very happy new year, filled with lots of great reading material, and nothing but good things otherwise.  Maybe I’ll see some of you at a booksigning on Valentine’s Day weekend (I’ll share more details a little later), or somewhere else during the year.

I hope you get to kick off your new year tomorrow with some reading time.  I’m planning to start 2016 by parking myself with my shiny new laptop and doing some writing.

Happy,  happy new year to you!
