I can see the finish line from here. My editor emailed me my final line edits today while I was at the day job. That’s the good news. The bad news? She would like them back by Wednesday, and I work tomorrow, Tuesday and Wednesday. I’ll get them done. I know I can. I’m just a little freaked out over the short deadline this time.
When this round is finished, though, I think my next task on the to-do-for-the-book list is marketing. Wow! And that job is huge. Enormous. And I’m going to try to look at it in small segments so I don’t get a lot freaked out over that one.
I’m going to keep reminding myself that when this is done, I am that much closer to my release day for Hunting Medusa.
My shiny new cover art! isn’t it pretty?
That much closer to sending my book out into the world to share with all of you. So I’m done freaking out for tonight. Time to get some sleep since my day at the day job started before the sun was up today–sleep tonight so after work tomorrow, my brain is functional enough to actually make these last fixes on my story.
While I’m resting and not freaking out, I brought some chocolate to share with all of you.
