Today I counted only 57 days left until Hunting Medusa releases into the wild! Wow! Which means that my to-do list which is daunting anyway just got even more daunting.
I did have a lovely moment last evening while at the day job, though: while looking at the latest issue of RT Book Reviews magazine, I discovered that my awesome publisher Samhain had an ad for some of their new authors in the new year that included

That made the rest of my evening go by much faster and with me in a much better mood. It was very exciting to see that. Now I have to go to the bookstore to buy a couple more copies of the magazine to save for later.
Even better, today is my day off, which means I got to post another snippet over on my Facebook page. And right after I posted today’s snippet, I found a terrific picture that tied into it very nicely. Not a bad Monday at all.
All of those lovely things, however, have only distracted me from the things on my to-do list. The good news is that I have a couple more days this week to get things accomplished. I feel slightly better about that.
